Brake caliper sourcing: replacement versus upgrade

Replacement and upgrade calipers call for different checks. Safe Zone Auto Parts can discuss both routes, but a photo or piston count alone cannot establish vehicle fitment.

For a replacement caliper

Provide the OE reference if available, vehicle make/model/year, front or rear axle and left or right position. Confirm the original braking system, mounting arrangement, disc and pad specifications, and whether the request is for a single caliper or a defined kit. We will check the proposed part and included components before quotation.

For an upgrade project

Describe the complete brake setup—not only the caliper colour or piston count. Share the vehicle and intended use, disc diameter and thickness, mounting bracket or drawing, matching pad, brake-line connection and wheel profile. In particular, wheel clearance must be checked against the actual wheel and caliper profile. A qualified brake professional should confirm the complete system, installation and local road-use requirements before use.

Send a useful enquiry

Attach an OE number, existing-part photo or technical drawing for replacement; for an upgrade, add the proposed disc and wheel dimensions and explain what is already fitted. We will identify what still needs confirmation before quoting. No reference number or catalogue image is a final compatibility guarantee.
