Forged wheel sourcing: what to confirm about PCD and ET

A forged-wheel enquiry is easier to assess when it includes fitment dimensions, not only a design photo. Safe Zone Auto Parts can discuss wheel designs and customization, subject to technical review of the requested specification.

Understand PCD and ET

PCD (pitch circle diameter) is the diameter of the circle through the mounting-hole centres; state it together with the number of holes, for example 5×112. ET (offset, in millimetres) describes the position of the wheel mounting face relative to the rim centreline. Neither value by itself establishes that a wheel fits a vehicle.

Check the whole fitment envelope

Send rim diameter and width, PCD and hole count, target ET, centre bore or vehicle hub diameter, vehicle make/model/year, and the required wheel load rating. Confirm the fastener type and seat, tyre size, suspension and body clearance, and brake-caliper clearance. A larger nominal wheel diameter alone does not guarantee clearance over the actual brake assembly; a brake template, technical drawing or physical trial fit may be needed.

Send a useful customization enquiry

Share the preferred design or reference image, desired finish, target size and fitment data, intended market and expected quantity. We will review the requested specification and identify missing measurements before quotation. Product images illustrate designs only; custom feasibility, final fitment, load suitability and any local road-use requirements must be confirmed for the actual application before ordering or installation.
